This training is aimed at fruit and vegetable growers and others who are interested in learning about produce safety, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and co-management of natural resources and food safety. The course is one way to satisfy the FSMA Produce Safety Rule training requirement.
The training will be 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (all times Eastern) Wednesday, March 22, at the Purdue Extension-Wayne County office (861 Salisbury Road North, Richmond, IN). Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The registration deadline is March 15.
