My Account

Q. Do I have to create an account to place an order?
A. No, you can browse and order without creating an account. Creating an account just makes future ordering more convenient.

Q. What are the benefits of creating an account?
A. Creating an account stores your account information and simplifies any future ordering. When you log in, you will have access to your saved shipping and billing addresses.

Q. How do I create an account?
A. There are two ways to create an account. One way is to go to the My Account link in the top bar and select New Account, then fill out the information. The other way is to create an account at the checkout, when you come to a billing address screen. Fill in a password at the bottom of the form to create your account. Your login will be your e-mail address.

My Login

Q. What is my login?
A. Your login is the first e-mail address you entered. If you have edited your account and changed your e-mail address, your login is still the first e-mail address you entered.

Q. Can I change my login?
A. No. Once you enter your e-mail address, it becomes your login permanently. Even if you get a new e-mail address later and update your account, your login will still be the first e-mail address, you used.

Forgotten Password

Q. What do I do if I’ve forgotten my password?
A. While in the Education Store, click on My Account in the green bar. Click on the Forgotten Passwords link underneath the login area. Your login will then be sent to your current e-mail address.

Order Information

Q. Can I make changes to my order after it has been submitted?
A. We're sorry, but orders cannot be changed once they've been submitted. We process orders very quickly, and once an order begins the fulfillment process, we're unable to modify it. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope that in the majority of cases our faster processing times work to your advantage.

Q. Will I receive an order confirmation?
A. At this time, we are unable to give you a confirmation other than the screen you see at the completion of your order. If you have a question about your order, you can e-mail us with your name, address, date of order, and question. You may also call us at 1-888-EXT-INFO (1-888-398-4636). After asking you for information to verify your identity, a service representative will be happy to help you.

Q. Can I backorder an item?
A. No. We show only live inventory on our site. All items that show up in the search and category list are available. Out-of-stock items are automatically removed from the list and do not show up until they are available again.

Q. What is the Shopping Cart?
A. Our Shopping Cart is a convenient place to hold all the items you'd like to buy. Click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button for any item you'd like to order. We'll place it in your cart for you and show you a list of everything that's currently in your cart. When you're ready to finish your order, just access your Shopping Cart and click the "Click Here to Begin the Checkout Process" button.

Q. What if I have a problem while placing an order?
A. Although most online orders go very smoothly, occasionally shoppers may experience some bumps in the road. If you're not sure about what to do next to complete your order, try beginning at your Shopping Cart. In most cases, you'll get back on track and easily complete your order. If you continue to have trouble with your order, please contact us.

Shipping Addresses

Q. If I’ve logged in before, how do I enter a new shipping address when placing an order?
A. As you check out, you will skip the billing address screen and go directly to the "Shipping Information" page. You will have the choice of either using the previous address or typing in a new address. If you are sending the order to someone else, you can also enter the name of that person in the Contact Name box.

Q. Can I change a shipping address once I've placed an order?
A. The Review Order screen is the last chance to change or update shipping addresses. Once you pass that screen, shipping information cannot be changed. We process orders very quickly, and once an order begins the fulfillment process, we're unable to modify it. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we hope that in the majority of cases our faster processing times work to your advantage. If you have questions about your order, please contact us.

Q. What happens if my order totals $0.00?
A. If your order has a $0.00 total, you have requested articles that are free and available for downloading. You can print the free products by following the links to the items.

Tax-Exempt Orders

Q. Can I order products from the Education Store with my tax-exempt number?
A. If you are tax exempt, you have three options for placing your order:

  1. You may place tax-exempt orders through E-Cmmerce by first completing your customer informatin in the system.
    • Call the The Education Store at 1-888 EXT-INFO (398-4636) and they will explain how to mail or fax a copy of your tax-exempt certificate.
    • Once the certificate arrives at "The Education Store" office, your account will be flagged.You will be contacted by a "The Education Store" representative who will notify that you may enter your order through E-Commerce site.
    • You will need to login again and provide your e-mail address and password.
  2. Call the The Education Store at 1-888 EXT-INFO (398-4636) to place your order. You will be asked to fax the tax-exempt certificate before the order can be processed.
  3. Or, print out the order form and mail or fax it with a copy of the tax-exempt certificate to the The Education Store office.

Q. What payment methods can I use to order from the Education Store?
A. We accept Visa and MasterCard for online orders. You can also print out the order form and mail it with a check to the address on the order form. For other payment methods, please call the 1-888-EXT-INFO line (1-888-398-4636) and ask for the The Education Store.

A. The shipping rates below will be charged to orders shipped within the continental United States.

Our standard shipping method is United Parcel Service (UPS) or United States Postal System (USPS) for shipments that weigh 12 ounces or less.

Shipping for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Commonwealths and Foreign Countries

Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Commonwealth countries and foreign countries will be charged the actual shipping charge.

Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii may be shipped via UPS Air or through the U.S. Postal Service.

Orders going to U.S. Commonwealths and other foreign countries will be shipped through the USPS International Mail System. These orders must be pre-paid and payment must include the shipping fee.

Please contact the "The Education Store" office prior to ordering to confirm shipping charges. Foreign orders must be pre-paid; including the shipping fee.

Delivery Information

Q. When will my order be delivered?
A. We process incoming orders within 24 hours. If you haven’t received your package in a week, contact us.

Q. What carrier will you use to deliver my order?
A. We use two carriers. First, we use the U.S. Post Office if the weight is less than 12 ounces. For anything larger, we use UPS.

Q. I contact you or the carrier with questions about my package?
A. If you have general questions about the delivery of your order, please contact us.


Refund Policy

Q. Can I get a refund for a product I return?
A. Call us before you return any item. All refunds and returns require authorization by The Education Store before the items can be returned. Call (888) EXT-INFO (398-4636), or, on campus, extension 46794.

To receive a refund or credit, eligible products must be returned to The Education Store in resalable condition within 60 days of purchase. The Education Store is not responsible for shipping charges.

Invoices or credit cards will be credited after products are returned in resalable condition.

Q. Are there any physical products that cannot be returned?
A. Pesticide training materials, EPUBs, apps, and sale items cannot be returned.

DVDs, CDs, and videotapes cannot be returned unless they are defective. The defective items will be replaced if they are returned to The Education Store with a written explanation of the defect within 15 days of the shipping date.

Q. If I've registered for a workshop and cancel, can I get a refund?
A. There will be a 10 percent fee assessed to cancel a workshop registration or to transfer the registration to another date.
