The Indiana Trial Court System: At a Courthouse Near You is an overview of Indiana's local courts. It is part of a series of 4-H publications designed to create a new generation of informed and involved voters. Each manual contains activities and worksheets appropriate for upper elementary and middle school students. The first title, Introducing the General Assembly (4-H-896), explains in 24 pages how the Indiana Legislature works and what it does. The second title in the series, Boards That Run My World (4-H-912), looks at how the local school board and the county library board operate. The fourth book in the series is The Indiana Appellate Process: Courts of Last Resort (4-H-972).
