With increased presence of wild turkey in agricultural regions, the number of perceived conflicts between wild turkey and agricultural producers over crop damage has increased. But because of turkeys' high visibility in the landscape and widespread use of crop fields, they often may be held responsible for crop damage that they did not create. This publication will help producers determine the damaged caused by turkeys, as well as that caused by deer, raccoon, squirrels, and mice.
