Controlling plant size is one of the most important aspects of greenhouse crop production. An alternative, effective strategy for controlling plant height is to use chemical plant growth retardants (PGRs). The goals of this publication are to identify the PGRs currently available for height control, discuss application techniques for these chemicals, and give some guidance for selecting and mixing chemicals so you can optimize applications.
Target Audience: Commercial greenhouse and nursery growers.
